Beck House

Beck House is a converted Dales Barn that dates from the 17th Century and was converted in 1985 into a comfortable cottage.

The downstairs has a lounge/dining area with multi-fuel stove, colour TV, DVD and payphone. Within the lounge there is a sofa bed that sleeps two and can be curtained off for privacy. There is a small, fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge. The family bathroom with shower, bidet, sink and wc is also on the ground floor. Storage heaters provide additional background heat.

A spiral staircase leads upstairs to the main bedroom with twin beds.

Outside there is private parking for one or two cars, a patio, a small grassed garden, glazed summer house and coal store. The utility room next to Chapel House (opposite) is shared with Beck House and has a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Please note that we do not offer a cleaning service for this cottage so we ask our tenants to receive the place in good order and leave it in good order for those who come after them. Our very modest charges for this cottage reflect this fact.
